A Macclesfield entrepreneur has joined forces with a Geordie Shore celeb to start a beauty training academy in our town.

Businessman Kyle Frost (21), from the Weston estate, has four companies on Macclesfield's Duke's Court.

Kyle is now set to expand his presence in the area further than his three beauty businesses, and bar NO. 8 DUKE'S LIMITED.

This is because he will team up with Chloe Ferry (25), from MTV's Geordie Shore, to open up a training academy for wannabe Macclesfield beauticians.

It is the latest in a long-line of successes for Kyle, who quit his job as Receptionist at DW Gym on Pickford Street three years ago.

Aged just 18, Kyle invested his wages into his first beauty business on Unit 10 on Duke's Court, for which he could hardly afford.

The youngster first opened TOTAL AESTHETICS in 2018. They offer services such as lip fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.

It was a success, and he rapidly expanded into opening sunbed shop TOTAL TANNING, which was directly downstairs from his first business.

His group of businesses provide a place of work for over 15 people.

Not long before the first lockdown he branched out into leisure, and started bar NO. 8 DUKES, at the address of the same name.

He also started the TOTAL TRAINING ACADEMY, but growth of the beauty school had been halted due to COVID-19.

It hopes to offer practical teaching, and government funded beauty therapy qualifications in 2021, once restrictions allow.

The educational institute is another franchise for Newcastle TV personality Chloe Ferry.

Kyle's business partner has helped turned his dream into a reality.

"From my work with TOTAL AESTHETICS and TOTAL TANNING I got recognised by Chloe Ferry", he said.

"Chloe's business partner Maeve approached me on behalf of herself and Chloe, Maeve is her long holding business partner at CM House of Training.

"Maeve asked if I could work under Chloe's name bracket. And that they loved my work, that I stood out from a mile-off, and Chloe would love to work with me.

"Lockdown has held us back by about six months. But from the success of my other businesses I had the money in the pot to keep the Academy going.

"My passion lies with aesthetics and it always will. And teaching it is the next step. I am a Level 4 qualified beautician and beauty teacher."

In recent weeks, Kyle has been so busy with the NO. 8 DUKES bar, which is open from Wednesday to Sunday until the early hours each night.

His family help out at the bar, and are extremely proud of him for his determination.

Beyond his current projects, Kyle's ambition does not stop there.

"In the next five years, I want to own the whole courtyard," he added.

"I want to have every single shop in Duke's Court. And it will be called Total Courtyard.

"I've taken on some more buildings that are being refurbished at the moment.

"And I also want a proper big beauty school. I really want it to help those with learning difficulties. I'm really dyslexic and struggled at school but I've left there and done all these businesses.

"I see all my old teachers and they see where I am now and they are shocked. I got kicked out of high school and college, before I did beauty courses at private college.

"Almost nowhere would give me the time of day. It would be nice for my centre to give people like me a chance."

Kyle credits Macclesfield school The Fermain Academy for igniting his potential.

He failed every one of his GCSEs, and did not study business studies.

Macclesfield Nub News wishes Kyle success on the next stage of his entrepreneurial career.

"My message to young entrepreneurs of Macclesfield would be to dream, believe and achieve. Never judge a book by their cover, and always do what is best for you.

"Me personally, I'm a target-driven person. So if I spend £1000, I want to replace it with a return of double.

"The COVID government grants have kept me afloat, but I did have a lot of money saved to keep my businesses going in the pandemic as well.

"During lockdown, I've also been working for the NHS to help out and for some extra money. And I've enjoyed it."

Aside his businesses, Kyle even has time to help the community. He currently works occasionally as an admin assistant at Alderley Park vaccination centre.

Kyle has over 3,000 followers on Instagram.
