Two independent family-ran businesses in Macclesfield have joined forces, for one night only.

TOP CHEF Macclesfield, of 72A Chestergate, have teamed up with The Plough pub of Prestbury Road, and will take over their kitchen for one night only.

The pub, which dates back to the 1860s, will be serving Chinese food for one night only next month.

The two businesses are only a short walk away from one another, and businesses on this side of town always collaborate, so it was a no-brainer for the two businesses to work together.

The event will take place on the evening of Tuesday October 1.

TOP CHEF Macclesfield manager John Huang said: "TOP CHEF Macclesfield are delighted to be coming to The Plough on October 1."

"Only £15 per person, with a £5 deposit to secure your table, with limited places available.

"Please contact The Plough to secure your table."

The menu will be as follows:

Starter

A mixed starter consisting of spring rolls, skewer chicken, Chicken wing, prawn toast, spare rib, seaweed  

Main

Sweet & sour chicken

Beef green pepper black bean sauce served with Yung chow rice

The Chestergate takeaway opened in 2020, but the current management arrived two years ago.
