Wincle Beer Festival to celebrate tenth edition this summer
Details have been announced for the tenth-ever Wincle Beer Festival.
The event is hosted in July at Wincle Brewery.
The Macclesfield brewer, located in scenic Wincle, holds a beer festival every summer.
And tickets have just gone on sale for the 2024 edition.
The tenth ever Wincle Beer Festival will be held on Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6 2024.
Wincle Brewery Founder Giles Meadows told Macclesfield Nub News what to expect.
"We're starting off at 5pm on Friday the 5th, and all day Saturday from midday.
"We always try to add something new to the festival every year.
"New for this year we are delighted to announce that the family that own the fields around the brewery are working with a hugely experience Glamping partner who will be offering Bell Tents for the duration of the festival.
"A Wincle resident called Emma is organising the glamping, so it is a real community effort.
"The usual camping is available as well."
There are over 35 artisan beers, from both Wincle and beyond.
As well as sleeping in the vicinity of the award-winning brewery, amid beautiful scenery, you will also benefit from an international cornucopia of food stalls.
"We have some fabulous food outlets confirmed," said Giles.
"There's Malaysian food with Saltsu Catsu Flavours, Wood Fire Pizzas, Sphinx Farm Barbecue, and Cheddleton Oatcakes with their sausage oatcakes fast becoming a fast favourites.
There will be live music as well. A Million Fingers and Squeeze Pete and the Wastrels (which features Wincle Brewery's own Head of Sales) are the two confirmed bands at the moment.
Tickets start from £15 without tokens, and whether you are camping or not everyone gets a glass.

In 2019, The Guardian named Wincle Beer Festival as one of the 'UK's ten most scenic beer festivals'.
