What do Hollin House Hotel in Bollington, Panadero Lounge in Macclesfield, and Fina in Macclesfield have in common?

They have all hosted an innovative artistic event that been stirring for a while in Cheshire, and took the county by storm.

Sip and paint events business, Cocktails n Canvas, hosts innovative art and drink events across the local area.

It is not every day that you find an event where the calming flow of paint and the cheerful clink of glasses go hand-in-hand, but here, creativity is served with your favourite cocktail, making art accessible and fun for all.

A limited number of punters pay for an entry ticket, to socialise over delicious drinks and their use of a paint brush.

They boast over 2000 followers on their Instagram @cnccheshire.

Cocktails n Canvas was founded in 2017, with their first event in Macclesfield coming shortly after.

Founder Kelly Conniff established the firm with the goal of creating a unique, relaxing experience where creativity and fun go hand-in-hand.

"Cocktails n Canvas is overturning the intimidating perception of art one brushstroke at a time," they said.

"Our ethos, 'Fun Art Not Fine Art', encapsulates the essence of their gatherings – it's about enjoying the process of creating, not the pressure of perfection. Whether you're an art novice or a seasoned painter, the atmosphere at these sessions is inviting and inclusive.

"Experience, express, and enjoy – no prior art skills required, just bring your enthusiasm."

Sessions cost £35.95, and regularly sell out.

Amanda, a regular guest said:  "I have honestly never been able to paint, but these sessions are so good that everyone leaves with a painting they can be proud of. The sessions are relaxed with a lovely atmosphere. I honestly can't recommend enough!"

The offerings are as varied as the colours on a palette, ranging from the iconic and swirling stars of Vincent van Gogh's 'Starry Night' to the whimsical and heartwarming scene of 'Make a Wish' or venture into the charming Scottish Highlands with 'MooTastic'.

The recent 'MooTastic' Cocktails n Canvas, which was the topic at Hollin House Hotel on Jackson Lane in Bollington.

For those looking to dip their brushes into the world of art, they bring you a vibrant social twist to the art-making process, that they believe is perfect for unwinding after a long day.

Yet, Cocktails n Canvas is more than just an art class, as it can be booked for hen-dos, corporate events and private parties.

The team prides itself on curating an experience that blends art-making with memorable moments.
