Protestors against the Adlington new town plans are hitting the road.

The Supporters of the Adlington Green Belt (SOTAG) are taking their campaign on the road this Saturday, March 7.

As part of their Roadshow Awareness Campaign, they will be driving round in a decorated minibus, visiting surrounding towns and villages to raise awareness about the proposed 20,000-home development.

Mark Hadfield from SOTAG said: "Our aim is to spread the word and raise awareness of Adlington new town to people who aren't on social media or those who are still unaware.

"We'll be talking to residents about how this would directly affect their communities and what they can do to oppose the plans."
