LET'S DRAW!

Cartoonist Marc Jackson leads this monthly drawing club.

Children will have the chance to learn the basics of cartoon drawing while parents/guardians can stay and watch the fun, or head downstairs and grab a coffee from Flour Water Salt.

All the info you need can be found here.

Sunday (08/03)

Fermentation Masterclass

At this masterclass hosted by Rootstock in Bollington, you can learn about and make your very own jar of sauerkraut using a mixture of vegetables and flavours.

You will be taken through the recipe slowly, guided through the science behind fermentation and why it differs from other methods of preservation.

All ingredients are organically sourced from Rootstock and equipment is included. You just need to bring yourself!

Monday (09/03)

Perfect Arrangement

Perfect Arrangement arrives at MADS Theatre on Monday, March 9.

Inspired by the early stirrings of the American gay rights movement, this madcap, classic-sitcom setup gradually gives way to sharp, provocative drama, as two 'All-American' couples find themselves staring down the closet door — and the cost of keeping it shut.

Click here to find out how to get your hands on tickets.

Throughout March

Women's History Month

Women's History Month is officially underway at the Silk Museum.

Throughout March, the museum will host a packed programme of exhibitions, talks and workshops shining a light on the hidden histories of Macclesfield women.

This weekend, you will also be able to explore two temporary exhibits - Jacquard by Linda Leeson and Marion Waszkowycz and Letters from Macclesfield by Macclesfield & Prestbury Philatelic Society.

More details can be found here or by heading to the Silk Museum website.
