A hit-and-run left a taxi passenger in hospital.
Silvertown Taxis has issued an urgent appeal for information following a crash involving one of their drivers.
The Macclesfield-based taxi firm has stated this happened between 9.45pm and 10pm on Tuesday, January 20, at the junction of Moss Lane and Congleton Road.
A spokesperson said: "The passenger was taken to hospital and remained there throughout the night, and our driver is extremely shaken and distressed by what has been a deeply upsetting incident.
"If you were in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, saw a vehicle leaving the scene, or have dashcam or CCTV footage from nearby homes, shops, or passing vehicles, we would be very grateful if you could come forward. Even a partial description of the vehicle could be hugely important.
"Any information, no matter how small, could help bring clarity and support to those affected.
"Please contact us directly and in confidence if you can assist.
"Your help could make a real difference.
"Thank you for standing together as a community."

Cheshire Police received reports of the crash shortly after 10pm.
Officers are now working to identify the driver of the other vehicle involved.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At 10.10pm on Tuesday, January 20, police were called to reports of a collision on Moss Lane, Macclesfield.
"Police attended and there had been a collision between two cars, one of which had failed to stop at the scene.
"There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver of the second vehicle."
