Arrest made as police investigate 'altercation' in Maccclesfield town centre

Police are investigating an 'altercation' in Macclesfield town centre.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of common assault.
This follows reports of an altercation on Mill Street on Sunday, February 15.
It was reported that this was believed to involve two men and a woman and occurred some time between 4pm and 4.25pm.
Now, Cheshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch as they continue their enquiries.
PC Leigh-Birchall said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing in relation to this incident, and we are now urging anyone who witnessed it to contact us.
"The same goes for anyone with CCTV or other footage of the incident.
"You can report information to Cheshire Police by calling 101 or visiting our website to report online, quoting 26000127661."
The 50-year-old man has since released on bail.
