Biker left in hospital with 'serious injuries' following crash

A biker is in hospital following a crash near a new roundabout.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, flocked to Chelford Road on Sunday, June 21, after receiving reports of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
The rider of the bike, a 62-year-old man from Goostrey, suffered 'serious injuries' and remains in hospital as of 10.45am on Monday, June 22.
Now, Cheshire Police are urging anyone with information about what happened to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At 4.11pm on Sunday, June 21, police were called to a collision on Chelford Road, Macclesfield.
"Police attended and found there had been a collision between a car, a white Volkswagen, and a motorcycle, a blue and white Suzuki, near to the Cock Inn.
"The rider of the bike, a 62-year-old man from Goostrey, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital, where he remains at this time.
"The driver of the car was uninjured.
"Chelford Road was closed while officers dealt with the incident, it reopened shortly after 7pm.
"Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML 235564."
