Police helicopter supports search for missing teenager in Macclesfield

A missing teenager has been found.
Residents in Macclesfield were woken up by the sound of a police helicopter on Monday, June 22.
It has now been confirmed that the chopper was called in to support with a search for a missing teenager.
Thankfully, the youngster has been found 'safe and well'.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 5.40am today, Monday, June 22, police were called to reports of a missing teenager in the Macclesfield area.
"Local officers, supported by the police helicopter, conducted a search of the local area, and the teenager was located safe and well at around 6.40am."
