Macclesfield's biggest 1980s music festival is back this weekend.

Rewind Festival is on this Friday from August 2 to Sunday August 4.

The event once again takes place at Capesthorne Hall, in Siddington.

Headliners include Billy Ocean and Squeeze.

Other classic artists performing include former Eurovision Song Contest winner Katrina, ska legend Bad Manners and Sheffield one-hit wonder Living in a Box from the eponymous song and album of the same name.

Local legend Peter Hook is also on the billing.

Nub News will have a journalist at the event.

But the weekend is not just about who is performing on the main stage, but an event including other exciting entertainment such as the silent disco, funfair rides, kid-zone with entertainment for the little Rewinders, shops & stalls for jewellery, t-shirts, food & drink.

And in Rewind Festival style you can get 'married' in the inflatable church! Yes, the big church of rubbery love is back once again rockin' the retro vibes.

And for those wanting to make a whole weekend of it there's the general camping area - the perfect place to pitch your tent along with Glamping opportunities available. Or for those not wanting a night under canvas there are campervan or caravan pitches.

And with shower and toilet facilities available within the campsite everything is only ever a short walk away.
