A little French Bulldog has been missing from their owner for ten days.

Owner Ruth O'Donavan would love to be reunited with her loved one in time for Christmas.

The male canine lived in the Moss Lane/Henshaws Skip Hire area of the town, but went missing on Saturday December 10.

Volunteers are also encouraged to look in the West Bond Street/Crompton Road area.

"Clyde got out by accident, and is just 18 months old," said the missing poster.

"If sighted, please do not shout or grab. If you live in the area, please check and CCTV and doorbell footage.

"He is microchipped. Please look out for him. If found, he should be reported to the Council Dog Warden.

"From every bone in my body, thank you everyone for your support."
