Car overturned in Macclesfield partially closes lane on the Silk Road

A car was left on its roof this evening following an incident on the Silk Road, just off the roundabout leading to the Tesco Superstore.
The car appears to be a black Vauxhall Astra.
From the scene of the incident, Nub News can report that police have partially closed one of the southbound lanes on the Silk Road.
Emergency vehicle sirens could be heard heading to the incident around 5pm.
A number of police officers remain at the scene. There has been no confirmation of injuries.
