Chance to have your antiques and family heirlooms valued by experts
Antiques experts are on a mission to discover hidden treasures.
Halls Fine Art, a leading regional fine art auction house, are hitting the roads this year for a series of free valuation days.
It has now been confirmed that they will be visiting Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa twice in 2025.
The team of specialists will visit first on Thursday, March 20, and then again on Thursday, September 11.
Associate director Maryanne Lineker-Mobberley, silver and jewellery specialist at Halls Fine Art, said: "We are very much looking forward to adding Shrigley Hall to our list of free valuation events that we host around the country.
"These specialist valuation days are the perfect opportunity for people to not only find out the potential value of their family heirlooms or personal collections but to also learn more about their history.
"We've previously seen some amazing objects at these events including a Chinese blue and white vase that sold £150,000 and a Cartier diamond brooch which realised £13,000.
"My colleague Alexander Clement and I can look at a vast array of different objects, ranging from jewellery, silver and watches, to ceramics, pictures, glassware, medals and coins.
"We are also happy to attend house visits if individuals have large collections."
Both of the valuation days at Shrigley Hall run from 10am to 2pm.
Anyone planning to attend is asked to contact Halls Fine Art on 01743 450700 to book an appointment.
If you have a collection or larger antique you wish to be valued, please bring along photographs to show the experts.
