A street party is returning to Chestergate this summer.

Summer Days is back for 2025 and promises to be even 'bigger and better' than last year.

Organiser Louise Bullock, owner of Loola Loves, is looking forward to welcoming hundreds of visitors to enjoy live music, tasty food and much more.

She said: "We couldn't be more excited to announce that Summer Days Street Party will be back for 2025.

"Plans are well under way and it promises to be even bigger and better than last year."

Louise added: "Events like Summer Days help to bring the community together, encourage visitors to explore the town, support local and offer an opportunity for the many wonderful independent businesses on our high street to celebrate everything they have to offer. 

"Hundreds of local residents joined us for last year's event; enjoying the free entertainment, family activities, incredible food and drink, and gave them the opportunity to connect with their neighbours here in Macclesfield. 

"We can't wait to share more with you all very soon."

Summer Days was held for the first time in 2024.

This year's event takes place from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, June 21.

It will offer a unique way to experience the west side of Chestergate, with a stretch of the road closed to traffic for the event.

You can expect live music and performances as well as stalls, activities, arts and crafts.

There will also be an after party.

Best of all, Summer Days is free to attend.
