Thursday (27/03) - One Project clothing sale

One Project Macclesfield are hosting an underwear, swimwear and clothing sale this weekend.

There will be brand new items donated from Pour Moi and other brands.

Prices start from just £1, with cash and card accepted.

The sale takes place over three days - March 27, March 29 and April 3.

Friday (28/03) - Music@Mike's

The next lunchtime concert at St Michael's Church in Market Place is this Friday.

Starting at 1.15pm, it will be a recital by the Cheshire Chamber Collective piano quintet who will be playing works by Elgar.

Entry is free, with donations to East Cheshire Hospice and St Michael's welcomed.

Friday (28/03) - Last Dance Saloon

Multi Story Theatre Company are staging 'Last Dance Saloon' at Macclesfield Library on Friday evening.

It tells the story of two people navigating the challenges of a long-distance relationship, sustained by tango sessions in Argentina.

Mark Wallace, director at Beaford Arts, described it as "The culmination of a career-long commitment to contemporary small-scale theatre: warm, engaging, and infused with a deep understanding of the theatre-maker's craft".

Friday (28/03) - Big Band Extravaganza

The Wychcraft Big Band Extravaganza takes place on Friday at the Broken Cross Club.

Featuring vocalist Rosie Douglas, they will be playing hits from Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Duke Ellington and many more.

The show starts at 8pm, with £10 tickets available from Margin Music or by calling Janet Watson 07712 899305.

Money raised will go to East Cheshire Hospice.

Friday (28/03) - Heech Band

The Wharf, on Brook Street, is hosting live music on Friday night.

Heech Band will be playing both covers and original songs.

The gig starts at 9pm.

Friday (28/03) - The Filthy Six Horn & The Joe Tatton Trio

Macc really is spoilt for choice when it comes to live music on Friday.

Mash Guru will welcome The Filthy Six Horn and The Joe Tatton Trio.

The show gets underway, with entry £7.50 on the door.

Saturday (29/03) - Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

Treat the special lady in your life to an afternoon tea at Heaton House Farm.

You can dig in to a selection of sandwiches, savoury snacks and cakes inside the rustic old Stable Yard restaurant.

Sunday (30/03) - Treacle Market

Following another weather-related cancellation, the Treacle Market will once again grace the cobbles of Macclesfield.

You can expect more than 140 stalls as well as live music and entertainment.

The market runs from 10am to 3.30pm.
