A popular clothing market returns this weekend.

Picturedrome will play host to a clothing market on Sunday, showcasing everything from handmade wears and upcycled items to children's garments and carefully selected vintage pieces.

It is the third such event organised by Leigh Jennings and Dick Vincent, the couple behind Dick's General Store.

They said: "We started planning this seasonal market from our own passions and interest in vintage and fashion.

"We only have a small selection of clothing in our shop (located in the foyer of Picturedrome) so we thought being able to team up with other passionate businesses and makers could offer something new and exciting to Macclesfield.

"The previous two markets have been brilliant, bringing new customers to this end of town and seeing like-minded people come together, chat to traders and then enjoy some breakfast or lunch at Picturedrome in-between shopping."

Picturedrome is a dog friendly and fully accessible venue.

It houses nine independent businesses, including Reserve Wine, Baked by Bean and Honest Crust.

It even has an outdoor seating area and a kids play area to keep the little ones entertained while you browse the market.

Leigh and Dick added: "The Picturedrome is an ideal location for this kind of event and they've been incredibly supportive.

"You could easily spend hours eating and trying new dishes, or just pop in for a coffee.

"We encourage shoppers on Sunday to pop along for breakfast, enjoy some shopping then stay for more food or cocktails after - it really makes for a great day out, and all on our doorstep of beautiful Macclesfield.

"Our shop feels like part of a community and bringing this clothing market to this beautiful Grade Listed building feels like an extension of that."

Leigh and Dick have aimed to keep deposits low to ensure traders can make the most of the day.

All of the money taken from the deposits will be donated to two charities - Smile Group and Reverse Rett.

The clothing market runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, April 6.
