The good folks at Macclesfield's Cinemac Live, has teamed up with Nub News once again to offer Nub News readers the chance to win tickets to an upcoming event.

This time around, the kind-hearted, community-driven events venue are hosting a tribute festival this October.

80s Monster Mash Tribute Festival will feature a huge line-up of music tribute acts to 1980s pop legends.

Taking place just five days before Halloween, the festival has a ghoulish theme. Costumes reccommended, but not essential! (Image - Cinemac Live)

From a Billy Joel tribute, to Kylie, Boy George and Madonna tributes.

Whitney and Cyndi Lauper tributes round-out the line-up.

There's also DJs to keep the party vibes going throughout the night.

80s Monster Mash Tribute Festival takes place on Saturday October 26, at Cinemac Live, Roe Street.

And Macclesfield Nub News has a FREE competition to enter, which could score you tickets.

The contest, launched on our Facebook, will have two sets of prize winners, winning two tickets each. (Four in total on offer).

Cinemac Live Director Jordan Wilson said: "We're going back to the 80's on October 26th with our Monster Mash Tribute Festival!

"And we are delighted to team up with Nub News to offer another contest.

"We've loads of acts playing throughout the day, it'll be the first time for all of them on our stage, these are: Boy George Tribute UK, Billy Joel Tribute UK, Highly Minogue, Different Colours: Cyndi Lauper (with full band), Making It Madonna (with dancers), Celebration of Whitney, and to end the night, Superficial Damage: The Ultimate 80's Party Band.

"This incredible day will be hosted by Yzzy Pearce-Higham who many of you will know from our last tribute festival as Pure Paloma. As well as this, our amazing DJ, Andrew Brownlie will be back playing sets in-between the artists throughout the day.

"We will also be hosting a Fancy Dress competition where you can win amazing prizes from some of our favourite local businesses! A food truck will be outside the cinema from 2pm and we will have a photographer to capture your memories throughout the day."

You can enter until 23:59pm BST on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The winners of the contest will be revealed on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
