Save Bollington Library
First up, there is a free event for fans of books.
Bollington Library faces an uncertain future.
A public campaign to save the library is touring the town.
This Saturday from 10am, head to Bollington Health and Leisure to find out how you can save Bollington Library.
Free to attend, event ends at 12pm.

Garden for Charity
Parvey Garden at Parvey Lodge in Sutton is opening for charity for a second year in a row.
It is part of the National Garden Scheme and raises funds for the wonderful charities under its umbrella.
Last year, the garden owners have raised £2400 by opening twice (in spring and in autumn) for two weekends.
This weekend they are open on Saturday May 18 2024 from 11am till 4pm.
Entry fee is £5 (children enter for FREE), we welcome dogs on a lead . It is wheelchair friendly in most places and we have a great variety of great cakes and bakes, coffee and tea.

Also for Charity
A Tytherington coffee morning will raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
At Tytherington Family Worship Church, Sandwich Drive, May 18.
There are also stalls raising funds for Uganda. 10am to 12pm.

In Music
It looks like every event in this round-up is on a Saturday this week. And in theory, you could do them all.
Last but not least, this final event is a classical one.
Music and move lovers rejoice in this KEMS concert.
Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra bring you an evening of music from the films. The programme includes music from 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' by John Williams, 'James Bond Medley' arranged by Victor Lopez and 'Superman March' by John Willliams. The conductor is Anthony Houghton.
Tickets are £15 for adults and free for under 18s and are available from Macclesfield Visitor Information Centre, Margin Music on Market Place, as well as online. Tickets could be available on the door but DON'T CHANCE IT.
