Remember, remember... to get your tickets to a fireworks display!

Guy Fawkes Night is fast approaching and many of you will now be deciding where you'll be going to watch the night sky come alive.

Well to make life a little easier, we have put together a guide to all of the events taking place in Macclesfield this year.

Please note that as November 5 falls on a Wednesday this year, many venues are choosing to host displays on alternative dates.

And remember, you can add your events to our What's On page here.

Tytherington Club - November 5

The health club off Dorchester Way will be sticking to tradition and hosting a display on November 5 itself.

Expect 'entertainment for all the family' along with tasty treats from local food vendors.

Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks begin at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £13 for adults, £9 for children aged 4-15 and £36 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children).

Macclesfield FC - November 5

The Leasing.com is gearing up to host its annual Firework Extravganza, which promises to be 'bigger and better than ever before'.

There will also be a number of activities taking place in and around the ground, including balloon modelling.

Doors open at 5pm with the big event kicking off at 7pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £6 for children aged 2-16 and £26 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children).

Beech Hall School - November 7

Beech Hall School offer a slightly earlier display for those with little ones.

Gates open at 4.30pm, with the bonfire lit at 5pm and the firework display at 6pm.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for children and £40 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children).

Church House Inn - November 7

Due to the success of last year's event, this's community bonfire year will be ticketed.

However, tickets are just £1 and every penny goes to the Alzheimer's society.

There are no fireworks but guests are invited to bring along homemade Guys and unwanted wood to chuck on the fire.

There will also be sparklers, treacle, toffee apples, Parkin and mulled wine, as well as marshmallows to toast.

Bring along your homemade Guys and any unwanted wooden bits to chuck on the fire — let's make it a blaze to remember!

Macclesfield Rugby Club - November 7

Macclesfield Rugby Club claims to have East Cheshire's biggest bonfire and fireworks festival.

This year will offer live music, a fairground and more food vendors and bars than ever before as well as 'bigger and louder' fireworks.

Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire lit an hour later ahead of the firework display at 8.30pm, with live music continuing until late into the night.

Tickets range in price from £8.45 for a standard child ticket to £17 for a VIP adult ticket.

Macclesfield Cricket Club - November 8

The cricket club's Firework and Light Festival offers two displays for the price of one.

There will be a junior display with less loud bangs at 7.15pm followed by the main 'firework spectacular' at 8.15pm.

Tickets are priced at £11.29 for adults, £8.61 for children aged 5-16 and £27.33 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children)
