An empty home in Macclesfield could become four separate addresses, if plans get approved by Cheshire East Council.

The home at 1 Dales Place, adjacent to Barber Street in east Macclesfield, could be knocked down to make way for a development that will allow more people to live there.

The proposed houses would be one two bedroom house, and a trio of three bedroom houses.

What currently resides there is a sole one bedroom house, which the applicant claims is currently vacant.

The new development would have four parking spaces, an increase from the current one.

The full plans can be read on THIS LINK - where residents can submit their views on the project.

The development is a stone's throw from Windmill Park, and backs on to St. Peter's Church.

Nearby amenities include The Dolphin pub and Windmill Sandwich Bar.
