Everything you need to know ahead of MaccPride 2025 including music lineup and parade route

MaccPride 2025 is almost here.
The annual celebration of diversity and the strength of the LGBTQ+ community returns this Saturday (July 5).
There will be something for everyone to enjoy, including live entertainment, food vendors, charity stalls, kids games and more.
We've put together a handy guide with everything you need to know ahead of the big day.

Pride March and free buses
The theme for this year's Pride March is 'Journeys - Moving Forward Together'.
Those wishing to take part are asked to meet at Christ Church on Great King Street at 10.30am.
The parade will set off at 11am, heading via Catherine Street before walking the length of Chestergate to Market Place, where the main stage will be located.
Thanks to Macclesfield Town Council there will also be free buses throughout the day.
The 3, 10, 19, and 19A Macclesfield routes will all be free along with the 14 and 14A High Peak routes.

What else?
The MaccPride Hub opened at the Grosvenor Centre at the end of June.
Here you can find a range of merchandise, all in aid of the MaccPride charity.
You can also purchase wristbands which will entitle you to 20 per cent off your first round with the licensed bar, Dukes Hospitality.
Yas Bean, Waffle Kart and Mr Whippy Ice Cream will also be in attendance.
There will also be a glitter stall from midday to 2pm and a cosmic aerial workshop from 1pm to 4pm.
Pride is about more than one day though and the festivities continue the following Friday at Cinemac with the MaccPride Comedy Club featuring Stephen Bailey.
Meanwhile, Monocle Cafe on Chestergate will be hosting a MaccPride art exhibition until the end of July.
