Farmfoods coming to Macclesfield is one step closer, with the location now being doubled confirmed as Barracks Mill.
Job listings for the frozen food retailer suggested they were coming to the Barracks Mill Retail Park in Macclesfield earlier this month.
Now, a new Cheshire East Council planning application has reaffirmed suspicions that it is replacing The Gym in the Barracks Mill Retail Park.
Farmfoods have applied for "Advertisement Consent: 1no flexface skin fitted to landlords existing box, internally illumunated 3no window vinyls 1no vinyl to totem sign", according to the Cheshire East Council planning website.
But for those hoping whether this means we'd get more information about the store's opening, you'd be wrong. The planning application gives no hint on when the store will open, other than a target decision date of April 21 for this replacement to the pre-existing advertising board.
Farmfoods have denied requests to comment by Macclesfield Nub News. But you can apply to work for them HERE.
