Classic Christmas movies will be screened at Macclesfield's UNESCO World Heritage site, for the first time.

Jodrell Bank will host 15 festive cinema screenings, with individual titles confirmed so far such as Miracle on 34th Street and Nightmare Before Christmas.

The family festive fun will take place at dates between December 7 and December 22.

Jodrell Bank Marketing Manager Holly Westwood had this to say on the new event: "It's time for 'Home Alone in the Dome'," she said.
