A fishing club in a Macclesfield parish could be set to expand.

The Fishing Lake at Bollington Lane in Nether Alderley could benefit from a new planning application on the Cheshire East Council website.

It regards: "Provision of two parking areas and three fishing cabins."

150 square metres of internal floorspace will be gained from the new plans.

The same application also concerns retrospective permission for erection of fencing, meaning the new fencing is already up.

The trio of new cabins will have amenities like multiple bedrooms, a kitchin/living area as well as bathroom facilities.

The fishing area, also known as Mere Farm Quarry Fishing, will have their planning application heard by September 6.

Residents can comment on the proposals HERE.
