A former dental surgery could be turned into a flat.

The property once home to Ward and Snape on Chester Road could soon undergo some major changes.

With the dental laboratory having moved to a new location, on Bridge Street, in April this year, the old premises has been sat empty for several months.

However, Bee Hoppy Properties has now submitted a planning application to Cheshire East Council, seeking prior approval for a change of use from business use to residential.

The application states that they plan to make the downstairs into a flat and remove the large shop windows, which are currently still adorned with the Ward and Snape branding.

It adds that the upstairs was a flat in the past but has been vacant 'for a while'.

Cheshire East Council received the application earlier this month and the consultation is due to end on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

To view the application, visit the Cheshire East planning portal and search for the reference 24/4896/PRIOR-3MA.
