Macclesfield Conservative Social Club has appeared for sale on the property website, Rightmove.

With a guide price of £1.5 million, the property on West Bank Road is described as having 'redevelopment potential', subject to planning.

The listing reads: "The property currently comprises the main social club with ancillary accommodation and apartment, along with a separate office building, located adjacent, known as 2a West Band Road.

"The site extends, in total, to approximately 1.96 acres.

"The area comprising of the car park and buildings extends to approximately 0.9 of an acre."

The sale of the property is being handled by estate agents, Jackson-Stops, via informal tender.

Best offers should be submitted by midday on March 18.
