The Cheshire East owned public loos are set to make a splash on the local property market.

The ex-public conveniences on Park Green in Macclesfield are up for sale.

The loos have been shut as new public toilets are worked on inside Macclesfield Indoor Market.

And now Cheshire East Council are set to flog the loos for some cash.

But it will cost you more than spending a penny to take on this loo.

It will be sold at auction next month with a purchase price of £40,000.

Pugh Auctions will be selling the property online on December 6.
