The grassroots campaign to save a South Macclesfield site from being turned into housing moves to the town centre.
Macctastic in conjunction with the 'SAVE DANES MOSS' campaign will provide a free presentation and Q&A on the under-threat site tonight.
The event will take place at St. Michael's Church on Tuesday Nov 1 from 7pm to 9pm, with the talks tarting at half past seven.
Organisers describe it as "a great way to catch up on all things #danesmoss on a dark evening when not able to actually be out on the Moss!"
Cheshire East Council plans suggest the site of natural beauty could host over 950 homes and a link road.
The area is thought to contain over 220,000 cubic metres of peat, which is a natural carbon sink.
Part-landowners Cheshire East Council have been contacted for comment. It is unsure if anyone representing the proposed development will attend.
