An international Harvest Festival will take place in Macclesfield this weekend.

The FREE event will take place at St. Peter's Church on Windmill Street, from 3pm this Saturday.

The project is a co-ordination between two Macclesfield-based Ukrainians.

Co-Organiser Asia Cullen said: "All five continents of the world will be represented."

"There is lots in store for you including a dress once worn by Frida Kahlo on exhibition, and mushroom coffee from Brazil.

"There will be traditional food, performances music and dances from all over the world. Everyone is welcome, children too."

The event will also raise money for charities, and community organisations will be there. Macclesfield good causes attending include Refugees Welcome, Pearls of Cheshire, Art Space, Grow Macclesfield and Silklife.

Feel free to bring a dish or bottle to join in with the festivities.
