Half of all grades at King's School marked A* or A

This year's cohort at King's School achieved around half of all grades at A*/A and more than three quarters at A* to B grade.
A total of 20 students achieved all A* or A grades and over a third of students achieved an A* in one subject or more.
Head, Jason Slack, said: "I'm absolutely thrilled with this excellent set of results for A levels and other qualifications.
"This cohort have worked exceptionally hard and thoroughly deserve their success.
"I couldn't be more proud of them."

Pictured below (L-R) is Jobin Joseph, who achieved AAB with an A in EQQ and is going to study medicine at Leeds University.
Chinmaya Aji is also going to study medicine, at Lancaster, while Marina Herath achieved ABB and is going to study politics and international relations at Sheffield University.
With A*AA and an A in her EPQ, Annabelle Jordan is heading to Exeter to study economics, where she will be joined by Sophie Payne who secured a place on a business economics course with a year in industry with three A's.
Finally, Will Oliver achieved A*A*B with an A in his EPQ and will study law at Bristol University.
