There's a new place to try food from this 'Tryanuary'.

That's because a new Chinese takeaway has come to Macclesfield.

Healthy Takeaway opened over the festive period in Macclesfield town centre.

They will be open six days a week, serving Chinese and Asian dishes.

The takeaway is located in a long-vacant unit where Lotus Chinese Takeaway once was, but Healthy Takeaway is an all-new concept and an all-new management.

Macclesfield Nub News went down to Mill Street to meet with business owner Zhen Feng Li, to find out what the new takeaway is all about.

"I used to run a takeaway here from 2002 to 2013", she said.

"These days, people like a takeaway experience that is more healthier.

"Healthy Takeaway has no MSG, uses less oil and uses all fresh produce.

""I hope people enjoy the food, you can still enjoy a takeaway with less fat in the dishes."

Dishes include BBQ spare Rib and Crispy Duck Rolls, to Chicken with Blackbean Sauce and Lemon Sauce.

Other Asian cuisines are catered for too, with items such as Singapore Vermicelli with char siu and prawns featuring on the menu.

"We are open 4:30pm to 10:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday," she added.

"And on Friday and Saturday we are open 4:30pm to 11:00pm.

"You can order online, in-store or via 01625 402 310. Delivery is available."

Three jobs have been created from the opening of Healthy Takeaway.

To help people save money in January, they are giving a 10% OFF on phone and online orders of £20 or more.
