'Heist Bar' submits premises application for former Macclesfield bank

A new bar could be coming to Macclesfield.

Heist Bar Company Limited has submitted a premises licence application to Cheshire East Council.

It is in respect of 15 Market Place, the former Yorkshire Bank.

Most recently, the unit operated as PEAK Cyclesport, who can now be found inside the Grosvenor Centre.

The application covers a number of licensable activities, including the sale and supply of alcohol from 10am to 11pm Sunday to Wednesday and 10am to 1am Thursday to Saturday.

Heist Bar, whose company directors are listed as Thomas Mark Beaumont and Stella Kathleen Beaumont, are also looking for permission to provide 'late-night refreshments' from 11pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday.

The application also covers the provision of both live and recorded music.

Those wishing to comment on the plans are asked to do by emailing [email protected] by November 3, 2025.
