Huge discount store takes over prominent high street unit previously home to Iceland

A vacant unit on Macclesfield's high street has been filled.
Mega Discount Store on Mill Street has welcomed its first customers.
It takes over the unit previously home to Iceland, which closed in May 2023.
Following Iceland's closure, the space was briefly occupied by MaxiDeals.
However, this proved to be short lived and the property then sat empty for well over a year.
Now it has been given a new lease of life as Mega Discount Store.
Inside you will find a huge range of items, from toys and bedding to pet food and toiletries.
