Macclesfield Town Council is planning a huge range of festive events in the town this Christmas, kicking off on 30 November.
On 30 November, a day of fun, music and festivities will kick off in Market Place. Macclesfield Brass Band will perform at 11am before a Christmas welcome from the Mayor. There will also be stilt-walkers, hula-hoops, face-painting, crafts and live music.
From 1 December, the Advent Window Trail will be live around Macclesfield. Paper maps can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre and the map will take you around Macclesfield's local businesses.
A Christmas Tree Festival takes place between 1 and 22 December - where residents can head over to Christ Church to see a range of illuminated trees decorated by groups, businesses and charities from all over town.
Residents are also invited to 'Light Up A Life' on 8 December. The service is organised by East Cheshire Hospice and will take place at United Reformed Church to remember someone special.
The Twilight Market takes place on 12 December. There will be a heated tipi, shops, Made in Macc market and live music.
