'Increasing concern' as police search for missing man from Macclesfield

Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' as they search for a missing man from Maccclesfield.

Jonathan Woodworth was reported missing on October 21.

The 42-year-old was last spotted on Sharpley Street in Macclesfield at around 8.03pm on October 20, walking past The Plough pub towards Prestbury Road.

Officers are urging anyone who may have seen Jonathan to get in touch.

Inspector Ash Sayer said: "We have officers out searching for Jonathan and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"We are urging anyone who thinks they may have seen him since Monday night, to get in touch with us.

"The same goes for anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam, or video doorbell footage which could aid in us locating him."

Jonathan is described as white, of a thin build, 5 ft 10, with short shaven brown hair.

He was wearing black joggers, grey Nike 95 air max trainers with hi viz stripe down the side, black on the bottom.

He was also wearing a grey Adidas jumper, black pullover and red anorak style coat- bright red with black arms/ shoulders and hood.

Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find Jonathan should call Cheshire Police on 101 or visit cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 2199198.
