A young puppy from Macclesfield has gained over 1,300 followers online. 

18 month old puppy, Loki Bear, has gained fans from all over the world for his adorable adventures. 

This tiny pooch is a cross between a Pomeranian and a German spitz and lives with his family in Tytherington.

Owner Rosa Savage is amazed by how much joy she - and her followers - have got from the account.

"He's very hyperactive and often barks for attention but when we are at home he's so cuddly and sweet, he's like our little baby," said Rosa .

"Lot's of people just laugh at him a just because he's so tiny.

"He loves going for walks, but his favourite thing to do is playing with his cat brother Colby.

"They wrestle all day and chase each other round, it's really funny."

The Instagram page only started in July 2021 but has seem huge amounts of successes due to Rosa and boyfriend Jake Brown's interest in Sidecross motorsport events. 

'I think the theme of the motorcross makes the page very popular as lots of people follow that event as well," added Rosa.

"But I also think people just genuinely love cute pictures of dogs."

"It's developed into him having some very devoted followers that comment and send messages all the time, it's really nice."

 This little canine has also travelled all over Europe with the race team. 

"He's been to Holland and Germany this year with plans to go to Belgium later this year," Rosa explained.

"He's like our little mascot." 

In the future, Loki has plans to go to an upcoming World Sidecross event in Czechia the first weekend of September.

One particular Instagram reel saw over 52,000 views, and saw a large growth to their online following. 

"It seemed to get a few hundred then stop, then a few thousand until around a month ago where it just went wild," she explained.

Rosa first began her pet's Instagram after her friend @thebear_necessitiesoflife (also from Macclesfield), when she saw how successful their account was. 

"I took inspiration from her page and it's developed into some lovely collaborations," she also said.

The German Shepard 'Bear' has also acquired a large following of around 1,000 followers and is often saw alongside Loki on both pages.

"A couple of people have come up and said 'oh look it's Loki from Instagram'," revealed Rose.

When asked about the future, Rosa would love to just continue spreading happiness with her online presence. 

"I would love to just keep on going, it is like a digital diary that we do with him, it's great to have a platform to look back on," she concluded.
