A van driver has been left in hospital following a crash.

Cheshire Police were called to reports of a crash involving a white Ford Transit van on Woodhouse End Road in Gawsworth at 2.41pm on Wednesday, April 15.

The driver, a 35-year-old man, suffered 'serious' injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains at this time.

Now, officers are appealing for witnesses and those with dashcam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Russell Sime said: "We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to please contact us, as we establish the full circumstances.

"We're also asking anyone with dashcam footage who may have captured what happened or was driving in the area at the time to get in touch.
