Joy Division tribute to be performed in Macclesfield this autumn

A Joy Division tribute which has toured the big cities is finally coming to Macclesfield.

Cinemac Live on Roe Street will welcome Transmission - The Sound of Joy Division this autumn.

The gig will take place on Friday October 20 from 7:30pm to 11pm.

Roe Street is just a three minute walk from where Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis used to live.

Cinemac has expanded into live music over recent years. This is the first Joy Division tribute they've had there. appropriate given half the band were from Macclesfield. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)
