Large emergency service response including air ambulance spotted at Macclesfield church

An air ambulance has been spotted outside a Macclesfield church.

Eyewitnesses have reported a large emergency service presence at Christ Church this afternoon, January 26.

An air ambulance, two land ambulances and police were all at the scene.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 12.30pm today, January 26, emergency services were called to reports that a man had collapsed at a premises on Castle Street, Macclesfield. 

"Police and paramedics attended and the scene, including air ambulance.

 "There is no update on condition at this time."
