Leisure charity to offer FREE activities on National Fitness Day in Macclesfield

A local health and leisure charity is set to to offer FREE activities on National Fitness Day at its facility in Macclesfield this month.

Everybody Health & Leisure will open its doors to the public on Wednesday 20 September at Macclesfield Leisure Centre, Priory Lane, for National Fitness Day 2023.

The day will see a huge range of free events and taster sessions taking place across the whole of the UK under the important theme, 'Your Health is For Life'.

National Fitness Day is the UK's most active day of the year (Everybody Health & Leisure).

Everybody will be hosting activities including: (see webpage below for class timetable)

  • Mass Move It Or Lose It Class – Macclesfield Leisure Centre
  • Mass Move It Or Lose It Class – Crewe Lifestyle Centre
  • TRAIN classes rolling throughout the day 
  • Activation sessions across various leisure centres 

Everybody members are also encouraged to bring a friend for free on National Fitness Day.

The day will encourage people to view this day as just one step in a much bigger journey.

Head of Operations at Everybody Health & Leisure, Dominic Crisp, told Nub News: "We are so excited to be back celebrating National Fitness Day in our centres this year.

A Mass Move It Or Lose It Class will be held for free at Macclesfield Leisure Centre (Nub News).

"We can't wait to welcome everyone, both members and non-members to come along and try out our free sessions to show people what our facilities have to offer.

"Our staff are ready to give you all the best health and fitness experience possible."

National Fitness Day is the UK's most active day of the year.

In 2022, more than 22 million people across the UK were shown to be active on the day, including 11.4 million children.

Everybody members are encouraged to bring a friend for free to Macclesfield Leisure Centre on National Fitness Day (Nub News).
