A central Macclesfield yoga studio launches this weekend, with free taster sessions.
Onyx Yoga studios is located on the upper floor of 2 Brook Street, just around the corner from Sunderland Street.
Located where Dharma Yoga used to be Onyx, will launch on Saturday with free yoga classes and other wellness-related activities.
Just turn up any time from 10am to 4pm this Saturday September 15.
Manager Kelly Mason will be running the studio.
"I've been doing this for almost eight years", said Kelly.
"I am a private chef, but I have opened yoga studios in the past.
"We've been in a soft launch over the summer, and we are ready for a full launch this weekend to turn it into a business.
"We can't wait to show our offerings to the Macclesfield community."
Anyone is welcome to their six-hour taster session on Saturday, from yoga novices to experts.
An ethical yogawear company and a local vegan protein firm will also be at the taster day, to help aid you on your wellness journey.
"We'll be giving goody bags to the first 20 clients that walk through the door", added Kelly.
"We're doing 45 minute taster sessions throughout the day from 10:30am.
"We can't wait to meet the community and give new clients the chance to experience our teachers."
The newly-furnished studio is a relaxing communal space to practice and teach yoga. The studio is named after the crystal of the same name, which is believed to have similar benefits to yoga.
"Yoga is for everyone and it can enhance all or different parts of your life. Whether it is physically, mentally, emotionally, or you want to grasp something more spiritual from the practice, it is all there for you.
"You can take what you need in your life, and help improve it with yoga. If you're an athlete, it will add years on to your career, it will prevent injuries, and enable you to maintain your breath better to help with your performance.
"If it is someone suffering from anxiety or stresses, it will give you the hours in your day to calm your nervous system down. Basically yoga is an enhancer of life."
Kelly, who has already ran yoga studios across the globe, will be joined by a roster of Cheshire's best yoga teachers.
And for those that are already experienced in yoga, Onyx has plenty to offer for them too.
"I think we are one of - if not the only - purpose-built spacious studio within the north west", revealed Kelly.
"We have an infrared heating system, which gives us the ability to have hot yoga classes to detoxify during the sessions or create resilience in the individual."
Beyond the launch day, Onyx will be offering classes across seven days every week.
Classes include yin yoga, power yoga, ashtanga yoga.
There will be special workshops at the weekends, more focussed sessions helping you with headstands, inversions and arm balances.
The space will also offer a unique yoga experience called sound baths, used to calm and heal the body with vibration or sound.
Next year, they will hope to run yoga retreats as well.
"We really hope that with the leading teachers, purpose-built studio and state of the art equipment we have created a really nice environment for people to come relax, take some time for themselves and stretch their body," concluded Kelly.
Weekday classes under 60 minutes will cost £12.
There is a special 2-for-1 offer when joining, and new members get a £30 for 30 days unlimited offer to try Onyx's new studio out as much as one would like.
For full pricing enquiries, please contact Onyx or head to Saturday's taster day.
Onyx can also be followed on Instagram and Facebook. You can give them a call on 07412 773001.
