Light changes sought for Macclesfield's Pizza Express restaurant
A Macclesfield restaurant has applied to make some light changes to their interior.
PizzaExpress, of 4 Market Place, have applied for a minor variation of the premises licence.
According to the Cheshire East Council website, the application is "to vary the layout of the premises licence in accordance with plans supplied by the applicant - see application for full details.
"All licensable activities, permitted hours, opening hours and conditions to remain as existing."
The changes will involve a very short period of closure, to conduct the changes.
A PizzaExpress spokesperson said, "At PizzaExpress, we love innovating - whether it's our menu, supermarket range or pizzerias themselves - like we are doing at our Macclesfield pizzeria which will soon feature refreshed interiors.
"We are obsessed with providing the perfect mood and setting for our pizza fans to catch up with family, mates and dates over a plate of Dough Balls (or two) and are excited to show off our new look and delicious new menu in early October."
According to the PizzaExpress Macclesfield website, the restaurant will be "Closed for refurbishment from Monday 30th September until Friday October 4 to give this pizzeria some pizzazz."

PizzaExpress has 370 sites in the UK. The company will celebrate their 60th anniversary next year.
Their Macclesfield restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and has the facilities to host children's pizza making parties.
The restaurant is a supporter of independent arts festival MACC-POW, which takes place on Market Place.
