One of the Queen's children has given her approval to a Macclesfield good cause.
Local Charity, The Rossendale Trust, are celebrating after receiving a prestigious Royal award in recognition of its outstanding workplace training. The Trust is one of 47 organisations nationally to have been recognised by HRH, The Princess Royal in this year's Princess Royal Training Awards.
Every year HRH The Princess Royal, President of City & Guilds, awards employers who have outstanding training and skills development programmes and which are proven to have a significant impact on the business or staff. The award reinforces the Trust's longstanding and exceptional commitment to its staff and recognises the positive and inclusive work environment at the Trust.
The Trust which employs over 200 staff across its sites in Macclesfield, Sutton and Buxton, offers staff an extensive benefits package and prides itself on a comprehensive training programme designed to enable everyone to progress along a career path in the business and reward the talents and skills of individuals.
The Trust will attend a ceremony later this year to receive their award from HRH, The Princess Royal.
This latest award comes after the Trust were awarded the title Employer of the Year 2022 by the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce earlier this year.
Simon Mayo, Training Manager at The Rossendale Trust explains just how much this award means "Over the years we have seen an increasing change in our tenant's health needs and this award highlights how our outstanding staff team have taken on increasingly more clinical responsibilities as part of their role.
Through a mixture of teamwork, training, and experience, we are continuously able to deliver a truly exceptional care service to our tenants.
This award is a well-deserved recognition of the ongoing hard work and dedication of staff and something we can all be proud of together."
The Rossendale Trust currently have several vacancies so If you are interested in working for this award-winning team then please contact their HR department on 01260 252500 or email [email protected].
