A local woman is raising money for East Cheshire Hospice by completing a 'wing walk' on an aeroplane in flight.

"I'm raising money for the East Cheshire Hospice as over the years it has provided end of life care for members of my family, my friends and their families," said Angela Robson on her JustGiving page.

"Less than 17% of the Hospice's funding is from the government - the rest is funded through events like this and the local community.

"The hospice needs £7,500 a day to keep it running. A lot of the events to raise money for the Hospice have been cancelled due to the pandemic, so anything I can to do help raise money for them would be amazing.

"I don't really like heights and hate the take off and landing in a plane so what more reason is there to be strapped to one."

Angela has already raised nearly £800 for the Hospice and her JustGiving page is still open for donations.
