Macclesfield Pride will take place in our town on July 9, and to help fund the event and the all-year-round work the good cause does, a raffle has been launched.

The raffle, which has tickets which can be bought for £1 from The Macc Pride Pop-up in The Grosvenor Centre, has prizes from a plethora of Macclesfield businesses.

They include a £250 holiday voucher from recently award-nominated Chestergate travel agent Henbury Travel, and a free booth at Pickford Street nightclub Zinc Popworld.

Other prizes include a mezze board and bottle of wine to share between four people at Stanley Street secret bar The Button Warehouse, and a day out with a Macclesfield private transport firm valued at £80.

The opening times for the temporary Macc Pride hub where you can buy the tickets from - and see art from local schools - are as follows.

The raffle winners could bask in luxury with Pott Shrigley's Shrigley Hall offering a Sparkling Afternoon tea for four.

There's also two prizes from businesses in Macclesfield's Duke Court.

All you have to do is pay a pound per sheet, and write your details on the accompanying slip.

Funds will help the charity to work closely with friends, family and allies who wish to achieve equality for all.

Macc Pride are committed to celebrating the diversity of the LGBTQ+ sector through inspirational and fun events. Be it karaoke, performance and more.

This includes July 9's Market Place parade, which you can find more about here.

The winning tickets will be announced on the evening of Saturday July 9 at the MaccPride event.
