Macclesfield: 21-year-old arrested after weekend Crompton Road stabbing

Detectives have charged a 21-year-old man in connection with a stabbing in Macclesfield.

Thomas Coppock, of Crompton Road in Macclesfield, has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and two counts of common assault.

Coppock has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on September 10. 

The incident left a 62-year-old man hospitalised, with no update on his condition released to the public since Sunday.
