A Macclesfield eatery is to serve Serbian food before England play the country in the this weekend's European Championships.
In fact, Mia's Treacle Bites, of Mill Street, serve Serbian food all year round, alongside British favourites.
The restaurant and café bar, which opened in 2023, is ran by a Serbian family who settled in Cheshire.
While they won't be open for the match, or showing the game, as the staff will be watching it, they will be open in the hours before the game.
Gareth Southgate's men take on the Eastern European nation at 8pm, in the Group C opener.
And in the hours before the match, you can enjoy food at Mia's from both countries.
Macclesfield Nub News met with Anglo-Serb Svet Rankov, who co-owns Mia's Treacle Bites.
"Mia's Treacle Bites is a local family owned restaurant on Mill Street in the heart of town," said Svet.
"We set off to establish this place for the people of Macclesfield to have affordable, good quality food, either dining in house with us, or delivered to the warmth of their home and enjoy it with their families.
"We cover a lot of continental European dishes, we have some Italian dishes, some Central European dishes, along with our breakfast menu which incorporates traditional English food.
"We also do our Serbian specials that are really rare to see in England. Certainly rare in Macclesfield!
"I grew up in Serbia, and lived there until 2016, when I was 20 years of age, and decided to move to the UK."
The menu celebrates the best of both nations. The menu boasts Macclesfield breakfast and lunch favourites from a full English to salads, soups and wraps, but also has 11 Serbian dishes.
The Serbian Specials, are as popular as the pizzas, burgers and toasties they also sell.
Serbian dishes include beef or pork goulash, ajvar (roasted bell paper and aubergine relish).
There's also cevapi with kajmak (small kebabs with mature clotted cream).
"Serbian food is quite meaty and hearty," told Svet.
"We have bean stews, cabbage stew. We also have a vegan option which is quite rare for Serbia because we are massive carnivores.
"The vegan dish is monastery beans, which are a top seller, very popular amongst the people of Macclesfield."
Another Serbian dish is chorba, which is a white beef heart soup, finished off with sour cream and lemon.
Stuffed cutlet, which is a national dish in honour of a former ruler, is also on the menu.
"We also serve goulash, which is mostly a Hungarian dish, but with us being from the north of Serbia, bordering Hungary, we have a large Hungarian influence," added Svet.
"I settled on moving to Cheshire because I quite liked the area, I had some friends from Serbia here.
"It is a lovely heaven on earth Cheshire is, there's a lot to see here. We're really glad that we landed here.
"There is a bit of similarities from my hometown to Macclesfield, but the difference is my hometown is quite flat, there is no hills like the ones that surround Macclesfield, but the greenery, scenery and the nature can be compared."
But who will Svet be cheering for during the match?
"I am quite torn, but I will have to cheer for the Serbian national team", said Svet.
"We're open from 10am to 6pm on Sunday, so by the time of kick-off [8pm] I will be watching it at home.
"We are really grateful for the people of Macclesfield to come and try us, I urge people to come and try our food, come and visit us, but if you are unable to come down, you can order to your home. "
Mia's Treacle Bites is located on 87 Mill Street, opposite The Shamrock Bar.
