Macclesfield: Barbie takes council for a free ride

Macclesfield's smallest fare-dodger has been evading parking charges in the Gas Road carpark.
A pink Barbie toy has been parked in the Gas Road carpark for the past 24 hours.
A day's stay at the Cheshire East Macclesfield carpark would set you back at least £17.60, providing you kept filling in the meter three times a day.
To add to the comedic value, a banana has been placed next to the ticketless toy.
One Facebook used joked "I'm not sure the banana trailer is road worthy."
While another added: "Barbie and Ken on a mucky weekend #relationshipgoals".
In all seriousness, this is litter and should be retrieved by whoever placed it here.
The toy has a broken wheel, and may have been left by a family using Macclesfield's Travelodge across the road.
This plastic can't be recycled, and will cost taxpayers to pick this toy up, as it is on Cheshire East council land.
The Barbie car has been left next to the right of the entrance of the Gas Road carpark.
