A Bollington woman has won big over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Macclesfield Hospital employee Alex Dean entered an online raffle held by Easy Winning Limited.

It was the first time she has entered. She purchased ten tickets at 15p each, spending a total of £1.50.

And against all odds, just one day later, she has won £700 at the first-time of asking.

"Wowsers," she said on social media.

"Only joined a day before, winning an amazing £700. Would highly reccommend Easy Winning. Money was in my account straight away. Just give it a try. Thank you so much."

The NHS worker was not the only winner from the online raffle company over the long weekend.

One woman won £10,000, and recent prize draws have seen £5,000 and £1,000 given out.
